# Enable or change the Safe House posture for an org

`POST /orgs/{org_id}/safe-house/enable`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mnemom.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://api.mnemom.ai/v1/orgs/{org_id}/safe-house/enable`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-Mnemom-Api-Key`

Customer-admin entry point to set the Safe House mode for an organization. Mirrors the staff-only `POST /v1/admin/safe-house/enable` route; both call the same `enable_sh_for_org(p_org_id, p_mode)` RPC. Caller must be an `owner` or `admin` of the target org.

## Path parameters

- `org_id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `mode` 'disabled' | 'off' | 'observe' | 'enforce' | 'enforce_sync': Target Safe House mode. Defaults to `observe` when omitted.

## Response `200`

Mode applied. Response shape mirrors the staff endpoint.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate-limit exceeded. The global per-IP limiter (100 requests/minute, applied to every `/v1/*` route) rejected this request. Back off until the window resets — `Retry-After` carries the cooldown in seconds and `X-RateLimit-Reset` the absolute reset time.
- `500`: Server error — request was well-formed but the server failed to fulfill it. Typically a downstream dependency (DB / RPC / external API) returned an unexpected error.
