# Submit the device approval decision (Approve / Deny)

`POST /oauth/device`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mnemom.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://api.mnemom.ai/v1/oauth/device`
- Auth: none required

Processes the device verification form. On Approve, binds the device code to the authenticated user and the chosen org (default: the user's personal org) — the claim-first ownership moment — so the polling client can then exchange it for tokens. On Deny, marks the code denied. CSRF-protected (signed token bound to user + client + user_code); session must still be valid.

## Response `200`

Terminal result page — authorized, denied, or code-not-found (HTML).

## Other responses

- `400`: Malformed submission or invalid organization (HTML).
- `401`: Session expired.
- `403`: Invalid or missing CSRF token.
- `404`: No live device code for that user_code (HTML).
- `409`: The code expired or was already used before approval committed (HTML).
- `429`: Rate-limit exceeded. The global per-IP limiter (100 requests/minute, applied to every `/v1/*` route) rejected this request. Back off until the window resets — `Retry-After` carries the cooldown in seconds and `X-RateLimit-Reset` the absolute reset time.
- `500`: Server error — request was well-formed but the server failed to fulfill it. Typically a downstream dependency (DB / RPC / external API) returned an unexpected error.
