# Mint a single-use coherence claim-intent ticket (anonymous).

`POST /coherence/claim-intent`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mnemom.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://api.mnemom.ai/v1/coherence/claim-intent`
- Auth: none required

The coherence report-claim flow (MNE-1379). A LOGGED-OUT viewer of a Coherence report who clicks "Claim your report" and creates an account receives a short-lived, single-use, opaque ticket (`mci_…`) scope-bound to `{report_slug, intent: enroll_passkey}`. That ticket — NOT a session token or cookie — is the only value that rides the sign-up → email-confirm → return round-trip on the URL, so nothing sensitive lands in the URL, the confirmation email, or browser localStorage. There is NO proof at mint: the report is publicly viewable (the slug is not a secret), so the authorization for the claim is the email-confirmation round-trip the user must complete to reach the authed exchange (proof of control of the email the report binds to). Intentionally public (`security: []`), the same posture as `/dojo/claim-intent`. Exchange the ticket via `POST /coherence/claim-intent/exchange` once authenticated.

## Request body

- object
  - `report_slug` string, required: The Coherence report slug to bind the claim to (16 URL-safe chars). Carried through the round-trip so the claim page can resume the ceremony on the authenticated return.

## Response `201`

A single-use claim-intent ticket.

- object
  - `intent_token` string, required: Opaque single-use ticket (`mci_…`). Present it to the exchange. Never a session token.
  - `expires_at` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `403`: Cross-origin write refused (`cross_origin_rejected`). A state-changing request that carries the browser session cookie must come from a first-party origin (`Origin`, or failing that `Referer`) and must not send a form-style body (text/plain, urlencoded, multipart) the operation does not declare. Bearer and API-key callers are never subject to this check.
- `429`: Rate-limit exceeded. The global per-IP limiter (100 requests/minute, applied to every `/v1/*` route) rejected this request. Back off until the window resets — `Retry-After` carries the cooldown in seconds and `X-RateLimit-Reset` the absolute reset time.
- `500`: Server error — request was well-formed but the server failed to fulfill it. Typically a downstream dependency (DB / RPC / external API) returned an unexpected error.
