# Exchange a coherence claim-intent ticket (authed).

`POST /coherence/claim-intent/exchange`

## Request

The freshly-authenticated first-timer — returned to the claim page by the email-confirmation callback, which set the HttpOnly mnemom_session cookie this exchange resolves SERVER-SIDE — presents the ticket minted by `POST /coherence/claim-intent`. The ticket is atomically consumed (single-use) and the scope-bound `{report_slug, intent}` is returned so the claim page can resume the enroll → step-up → claim ceremony with a REAL session (instead of the doomed immediate enroll that 401'd). The session is the only authority here — never a token on the URL. MNE-1379.

The scope-bound claim target to resume.

  - `intent` string, required: The scope-bound intent the ticket grants (e.g. `enroll_passkey`).

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Cross-origin write refused (`cross_origin_rejected`). A state-changing request that carries the browser session cookie must come from a first-party origin (`Origin`, or failing that `Referer`) and must not send a form-style body (text/plain, urlencoded, multipart) the operation does not declare. Bearer and API-key callers are never subject to this check.
- `410`: The target is no longer available — a single-use, time-boxed resource (e.g. a claim-intent ticket) that has been consumed or has expired.
- `429`: Rate-limit exceeded. The global per-IP limiter (100 requests/minute, applied to every `/v1/*` route) rejected this request. Back off until the window resets — `Retry-After` carries the cooldown in seconds and `X-RateLimit-Reset` the absolute reset time.
- `500`: Server error — request was well-formed but the server failed to fulfill it. Typically a downstream dependency (DB / RPC / external API) returned an unexpected error.
