# Employee Summary Metrics

`GET /companies/{company_id}/employee-metrics`

Cumulative summary headcount metrics by employee type.

Omitting job_tags returns available tag rows. Multiple IDs select the union of individual or direct-parent tags. Categories can overlap; summing rows need not count unique employees. Current, alltime and expired counts describe observed job records; observation dates are not confirmed employment start or end dates.

Required permissions for your API key's user: `corp.companies`.

    - `job_tag_label` string, nullable: Descriptive label for this employee type.
    - `job_tag_id` integer, nullable: Unique identifier for this employee type.
    - `job_count_current` integer, nullable: Number of current employees.
    - `job_count_alltime` integer, nullable: Number of employees that have ever worked at this company.
    - `job_count_expired` integer, nullable: Number of employees that no longer work at this company.
    - `job_first_seen` string, date, nullable: First observation of an employee of this type.
    - `job_last_seen` string, date, nullable: Last date an employee of this type was observed at this company. May lag from current date as data is refreshed.

## Other responses

- `400`: Missing or invalid required parameter.
- `403`: Invalid key or insufficient endpoint permissions.
- `404`: No matching rows.
- `429`: Concurrent request limit exceeded.
- `500`: Internal API error.
