# Delete an App

`DELETE /v1/apps/{app_id}`

Delete an App permanently.

The slug is freed immediately. Any active custom domains will stop
resolving within seconds.

## Path parameters

- `app_id` string, required — App ID (e.g. app_abc123def456)

## Response `200`

Deletion confirmation

- GenericDeleteResponse — GenericDeleteResponse.

  - `success` boolean
