# Get cost breakdown

`GET /v1/billing/costs`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mixedbread.com`
- URL: `https://api.mixedbread.com/v1/billing/costs`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

## Query parameters

- `month` string, date, nullable: The month to break down, by any of its days; the current month by default
- `limit` integer, nullable: The number of stores to return
- `offset` integer: The number of costliest stores to skip

## Response `200`

A month's cost per feature, for the workspace and each store

- CostBreakdown: A billing period's whole bill, its usage not tied to a store, and a page of its stores.
  - `cost` string, required: The cost
  - `features` FeatureCost[], required: The cost per feature, highest first
    - `name` string, required: The feature
    - `cost` string, required: The cost
    - `metrics` MetricCost[], required: The cost per billable metric, highest first
      - `name` string, required: The billable metric
      - `cost` string, required: The cost
  - `daily` DailyCost[], required: The cost per feature on each day with usage
    - `day` string, date, required: The day, in UTC
    - `features` object, required: The cost per feature
  - `period` Period, required: Inclusive/exclusive window describing a billing period.
    - `start` string, date-time, required: The start of the billing period
    - `end` string, date-time, required: The end of the billing period
  - `invoiced` CostInfo, required: Cost information for a billing period. - net_usage_cost: portion of usage that actually ends up on the invoice after credits, computed as gross_usage_cost - balance_applied. - gross_usage_cost: metered usage value before balance applied.
    - `net_usage_cost` string: The net usage cost
    - `gross_usage_cost` string: The gross usage cost
    - `balance_applied` string: The balance applied
    - `phases` PhaseCostInfo[]: The cost for each phase in descending order of end date
      - `period` Period, required: Inclusive/exclusive window describing a billing period.
        - `start` string, date-time, required: The start of the billing period
        - `end` string, date-time, required: The end of the billing period
      - `net_usage_cost` string, required: The net usage cost
      - `gross_usage_cost` string, required: The gross usage cost
      - `balance_applied` string, required: The balance applied
    - `products` ProductCostInfo[]: The cost for each product. Store, Parsing, Reranking, Embeddings
      - `product_name` string, required: The name of the product. Store, Parsing, Reranking, Embeddings
      - `gross_usage_cost` string, required: The gross usage cost of the product
      - `net_usage_cost` string, required: The net usage cost of the product
      - `balance_applied` string, required: The balance applied to the product
  - `workspace` CostTotals, required: A cost, per feature and on each day.
