# Get Draft Trace

`GET /api/v1/drafts/{draft_id}/trace`

Provenance of the LATEST generation of this draft: the exact context,
instructions, voice, and documents that produced the current subject/body.
404 when the draft has no trace (template-mode copy, or generated before
tracing shipped) — the UI hides the affordance in that case.
