# Validate

`GET /validate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.minelead.io/v1`
- URL: `https://api.minelead.io/v1/validate`
- Auth: API key in query parameter `key`

Check the validity of an email address. Also detects whether the address belongs to a disposable email provider (returned as `disposable_status`).

## Query parameters

- `key` string, required
- `email` string, required
- `firstname` string
- `lastname` string

## Response `200`

- Validate
  - `status` string: Verification result: success, catch-all, or error
  - `form` boolean: Whether the email format is valid
  - `webmail` boolean: Whether the email is a personal/webmail address
  - `mx` boolean: Whether the domain has a mail server (MX record)
  - `exist` boolean: Whether the mailbox exists
  - `firstname` string
  - `lastname` string
  - `disposable_status` 'Disposable' | 'Not Disposable' | 'Unknown': Whether the email is from a disposable provider: Disposable, Not Disposable, or Unknown
