# Count meeting recordings per folder

`POST /public-api/v1/meeting_recordings/counts`

## Request

- Base URL: `/` (relative, and the document’s source URL is not known)
- URL: `/public-api/v1/meeting_recordings/counts`
- Auth: HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-tenant-code`

Count accessible meeting recordings for each requested folder.

The response is a JSON map of folder UUID to count. Submit 1 to 100 folder
IDs; an absent folder has no accessible recordings. This intentionally does
not distinguish an empty folder from one that is foreign or restricted.

## Request body

- VideoFolderCountRequest: Request body for ``POST /meeting_recordings/counts``. ``folder_ids`` is a required, non-empty list of folder UUIDs, capped at 100. Unknown fields are rejected with ``422``.
  - `folder_ids` string[], required: Folder IDs to count video records for. 1 to 100 UUIDs; each must be a valid UUID (bad values return 422 from request validation).

## Response `200`

A map of accessible folder IDs to their meeting-recording counts.

- VideoFolderCountResponse: Map of folder ID → count of video records visible to the caller. Counts are scoped to the caller's tenant and access rights. Folders with no accessible records are omitted, so an absent folder ID means zero — empty, foreign-tenant and permission-restricted folders are indistinguishable by design.

## Other responses

- `400`: The tenant could not be resolved from the request.
- `401`: Error envelope (`public_api.unauthorized`).
- `403`: The request is not allowed for the current tenant or access configuration.
- `404`: Error envelope (`public_api.not_found`).
- `409`: Error envelope (`public_api.conflict`).
- `413`: The request body exceeds the maximum allowed size.
- `422`: Validation Error
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Wait for ``Retry-After`` seconds before retrying.
- `502`: Error envelope (`public_api.internal_error`).
- `503`: The request could not be served right now. Please retry.
- `504`: Error envelope (`public_api.request_timeout`).
