# Call Connected Tool

`POST /v1/connected-tools/call`

Requires project:write and brand ownership. Executes only currently enabled and granted tools. Existing approval policy is enforced; tools needing interactive dashboard approval fail closed on this surface. Obtain explicit user approval for external writes. No automatic retry or idempotency replay: verify provider state after an unknown outcome. Provider tool errors can appear in returned data.isError even when HTTP succeeds.
