# Create the brand's Slack destination. 403 slackPlanRequired when its organization cannot use Slack.

`POST /v2/settings/brands/{brand-id}/slack-destinations`

- `brand-id` integer, required

## Request body

- SaveSlackDestinationRequest: The settings of a brand's Slack destination.
  - `connectionId` integer, required: Id of an active Slack connection of the brand's organization.
  - `channelId` string, required: Id of a channel of that connection's workspace.
  - `events` string[], required: Notification events to send, from GET .../slack-destinations/available-events.
  - `language` string, nullable: Language of the messages. Defaults to the language of the user saving it.
  - `paused` boolean, nullable: Whether the destination is paused. Defaults to false.

## Response `201`

Destination created.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid body, an event that is not a brand event, or the reason as error title: slackConnectionNotFound (not an active connection of the brand's organization), slackChannelNotFound (not a channel the app can post to) or slackInvalidLanguage. Also brand-id does not match the request blogId.
- `403`: Caller is not a regular-user session or lacks editBrand on the brand (a team member with manageBrands in its organization has it). Also slackPlanRequired: the brand's organization cannot use Slack (slack-availability locked or planLocked).
- `409`: slackDestinationAlreadyExists (V1 allows one per brand) or slackDestinationBeingSaved (another save of it is running).
- `502`: slackUnavailable: Slack could not be read to check the channel.
- `503`: slackChannelsSyncing: the copy of the channels is being built for the first time by another request; retry in a few seconds.
