# Add a note to a post in the review portal

`POST /v2/scheduler/review-portals/{publicId}/posts/{postId}/notes`

Authenticated (brand reviewer session only). Records a free-text note on a post assigned to this reviewer, independent of any approve/reject decision. The note is visible to the agency. An unknown {publicId}, one that belongs to another reviewer, or a post not assigned to this reviewer returns 404; an internal Metricool user session is rejected with 403; blank content or content over 3000 characters returns 400.

- ReviewerNoteRequest: A brand reviewer's note on a post, independent of approve/reject.
  - `content` string, required: The note text. Max 3000 characters.

    - `id` integer: Note id.
    - `author` string: Author display name (the reviewer's email for reviewer notes).
    - `content` string: Note text exactly as it was stored: markdown, with the mention markers @[userId|name] still in place. The portal renders the markdown and shows each mention with the name written inside its marker — no id ever has to be resolved to display one.
    - `created` DateTimeInfo
      - `dateTime` string, required: Local Date-time represented with a certain timezone
      - `timezone` string: Timezone applied to the datetime
    - `updated` boolean: True when the note has been edited since it was created.
    - `mine` boolean: True when this note was authored by the portal reviewer.
