# Mark a single notification as read or unread

`PUT /v2/notifications/{id}/read`

- MarkNotificationRequest: Request to mark a notification as read or unread
  - `read` boolean, required: true to mark as read, false to mark as unread

- `400`: Malformed notification id, or delegated proxy sessions cannot access the feed
- `404`: Notification not found or not owned by the caller
