# Exchange rate history

`GET /v1/currency/history`

## Request

Daily ECB reference rates for one currency against `base` (units of `currency` per one `base`), one point per ECB publication day, back to 1999-01-04. Depth follows the plan's history limit.

## Query parameters

- `currency` string, required: The currency to chart.
- `base` string: Quoted against. Default USD.
- `range` string: One of 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, 5Y, ALL, MAX. Default 1M.
- `start` string: YYYY-MM-DD; overrides range.
- `end` string: YYYY-MM-DD, used with start. Default today.

## Response `200`

Daily rates, oldest first.

    - `rate` number, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Unsupported currency or base, or an invalid range or date.
- `403`: The window is further back than the plan's history allows.
