# Reset an account profit target

`PUT /rest/api/v1/accounts/{accountId}/profitTargets/{profitTargetFeatureId}/reset`

If the profit target (e.g., daily) is hit, no trades will be copied for the remainder of the day. To resume trading on the same day, you can utilize this operation to unlock the profit target. For an overall target the operation re-arms the target and its loss limit; an automatically captured reference balance is captured again from the current balance, a configured one is kept
