# POST /api/metric/{id}/dimension/add

`POST /api/metric/{id}/dimension/add`

## Request

- Base URL: `` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)

Add dimensions to a metric. Each entry carries its UUID and mapping target; the column-derived fields and mapping
  are recomputed server-side.

  Returns the updated list of dimensions.

    - `display_name` string: value must be a non-blank string.
