# Update a client

`PATCH /v1/clients/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.merlonix.com`
- URL: `https://api.merlonix.com/v1/clients/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Update mutable fields of a client (name, slug, logo, brand color). Requires a `write`-scoped key. The catch-all Unassigned bucket cannot be edited (`403`).

- ClientUpdate: Request body for updating a client (all fields optional; TD-943).
  - `name` string
  - `slug` string
  - `logo_url` string, uri, nullable
  - `brand_color` string, nullable

## Response `200`

The updated client.
