# Get branches with active merge queues

`GET /repos/{owner}/{repository}/merge-queue/branches`

Get the list of branches that currently have active merge queues

## Path parameters

- `owner` string, required — The owner of the repository
- `repository` string, required — The name of the repository

## Response `200`

- MergeQueueBranches
  - `branches` string[], required — List of branches with active merge queues

## Other responses

- `403` — Forbidden
- `404` — Not found
- `409` — Conflict
- `422` — Unprocessable entity
