# Retrieve a suppression

`GET /suppressions/{id}`

## Request

Returns one suppression by id or email address.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

Suppression by id or by email address. Rows whose address was erased (GDPR/LGPD) keep blocking sends but are hidden from the list and from lookups by email; they are reachable by id only. An erased row reports "[erased]" as its email.

  - `source_id` string, uuid, nullable, required: Email id whose bounce/complaint created the entry

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, malformed or invalid API key
- `404`: Not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded: 600 requests per minute per API key and 3,000 per team; wait for Retry-After
