# List a segment's contacts

`GET /segments/{id}/contacts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mepmail.dev`
- URL: `https://api.mepmail.dev/segments/{id}/contacts`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Lists the contacts a segment resolves to right now.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer: Page size, 1-100 (default 20)
- `after` string, uuid: Cursor: id of the last item of the previous page. Must be an id this list returned; there is no sentinel value.
- `before` string, uuid: Cursor: id of the first item of the next page (page backwards); same rule as after.
- `include` string: MepMail extension: comma-separated facets attached to every item — `properties` (the {type, value} map GET /contacts/{id} returns) and `topics` (the rows GET /contacts/{id}/topics returns). Omitted, each item has the Resend shape.

      - `subscription` 'opt_in' | 'opt_out', required: Effective choice: the contact's explicit one, else the topic's default
      - `explicit` boolean, required: True when the contact or the API chose this; false when it is the topic's default
      - `visibility` 'public' | 'private', required: The hosted preference page lists public topics only
  - `has_more` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, malformed or invalid API key
- `404`: Not found
- `422`: Validation error
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded: 600 requests per minute per API key and 3,000 per team; wait for Retry-After
