# Cancel a broadcast

`POST /broadcasts/{id}/cancel`

Cancels a scheduled broadcast before it goes out.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Broadcast canceled

- CancelBroadcastResponse
  - `object` 'broadcast', required
  - `id` string, uuid, required
  - `canceled_remaining` integer, required: Emails stopped before going out; the ones already sent are not recalled

## Other responses

- `400`: Not queued
- `401`: Missing, malformed or invalid API key
- `404`: Not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded: 600 requests per minute per API key and 3,000 per team; wait for Retry-After
