# List Accounting Vendors

`GET /billpay/accounting/vendors`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.meow.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.meow.com/v1/billpay/accounting/vendors`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/meow/apis/meow-api/docs/billpay/accounting/vendors/get.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

Returns the vendors in your connected accounting system, so you can find the `accounting_vendor_id` a bill's accounting mapping needs.

## Query parameters

- `search` string, nullable: Filter to vendors whose name matches this text.
- `page` integer: Which page of vendors to return. Your accounting system pages these 100 at a time, so a full page means there are probably more.

## Headers

- `x-entity-id` string, uuid

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- AccountingVendorsResponse
  - `vendors` AccountingVendorResponse[], required: Vendors in your accounting system.
    - `id` string, required: The vendor's ID in your accounting system. Pass it as `accounting_vendor_id` when mapping a bill.
    - `name` string, required: The vendor's name in your accounting system.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request could not be processed.
- `401`: Authentication failed.
- `403`: The API key is not authorized for this operation, or the user of a global API key is an admin or controller without approved KYC. The KYC case returns the message `KYC is required for controllers and admins.` until that user completes KYC in the Meow dashboard.
- `429`: Too many requests.
