# List available orchestration tools

`GET /v3/ai-agents/tools`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mentium.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.mentium.io/v3/ai-agents/tools`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the static list of orchestration tools that can be assigned to AI agents.

## Query parameters

- `agent_type` string, nullable: Optional agent type filter

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- AIAgentToolResponse[]
  - `identifier` string, required: Unique tool identifier
  - `label` string, required: Human-readable tool name
  - `description` string, required: What the tool does
  - `parameters` AIAgentToolParameter[], nullable: Input parameters for this tool (e.g. email_to, subject, body for email-send). Only set for text agent integration tools.
    - `key` string, required: Parameter key used in tool_inputs
    - `label` string, required: Human-readable label
    - `description` string: Parameter description
    - `type` string: Schema type: string, number, integer, boolean
    - `required` boolean: Whether the parameter is required
    - `resource_lookup` AIAgentToolParameterResourceLookup: Resource lookup metadata for rendering dynamic tool input fields.
      - `tool` string, required: Workspace lookup tool identifier (e.g. list_integration_connections).
      - `static_params` object: Static lookup params always applied by the client.
      - `depends_on` object: Lookup params resolved from sibling config fields.
  - `category` string, nullable: Canonical shared tool category.
  - `group` string, nullable: Presentation grouping for the agent tool picker (e.g. 'offer_management', 'carrier_compliance', 'email'). The UI groups selectable tools by this value.
  - `registries` string[]: Shared registry scopes this tool belongs to.
  - `aliases` string[]: Capability aliases that include this concrete tool.
  - `expands_to` string[]: Concrete tool identifiers unlocked by an alias/capability.
