# Get agent session

`GET /v3/ai-agents/{agent_id}/sessions/{session_id}`

## Request

Get a single AI agent session by ID including the full message/tool-call history.

- AIAgentSessionResponse: Response schema for a single AI agent session (one text-agent invocation).

  - `agent_revision_id` string, nullable: The agent version this session ran on
  - `agent_revision_number` integer, nullable: That version's number
  - `status` 'in_progress' | 'completed' | 'failed', required: Session status
  - `message_count` integer: Number of LLM messages in this session.
  - `messages` object[], nullable: Full LLM message history (system, user, assistant, tool messages). Only populated on detail endpoint.
  - `available_tools` object, nullable: Snapshot of tools available to the agent during this session run. Includes static tool identifiers plus resolved MCP/automation tools.
  - `workflow_execution_id` string, nullable: Linked workflow execution ID
  - `workflow_node_id` string, nullable: Linked workflow node ID
  - `started_at` string, date-time, nullable, required
  - `completed_at` string, date-time, nullable, required
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, required
