# Manually create offer for load

`POST /v2/tms/offers`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mentium.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.mentium.io/v2/tms/offers`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Manually create an offer with user-provided rates.

    Use this when auto-creation has nothing to persist — every listed
    offer-settings source is empty — or the broker wants to set rates by hand.

    **Required Fields:**
    - min_load_offer_carrier_rate_amount: What the broker offers to the carrier

    **Optional Fields:**
    - max_load_offer_carrier_rate_amount: Maximum acceptable carrier bid (defaults to opening rate * 1.2)

    **Validation:**
    - max_load_offer_carrier_rate_amount (if provided) must be >= min_load_offer_carrier_rate_amount
    - All amounts must be > 0

  - `external_reference_load_id` string, required: Load external reference ID
  - `integration_connection_id` string, required: TMS integration connection UUID
  - `min_load_offer_carrier_rate_amount` number, required: What broker offers carrier (in negotiation display currency, based on offer settings)
  - `max_load_offer_carrier_rate_amount` number, nullable: Maximum acceptable carrier bid (defaults to opening rate * 1.2)

- OfferCreateResponse: Load offer data returned from API without carrier offers (for creation endpoints)

  - `display_currency` string, nullable: Currency amounts are displayed in (org's current base currency)
  - `was_converted` boolean: True if amounts were converted due to org currency change
  - `created_by_user_id` string, nullable: User who created the offer (null for automated workflows)
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, required
