# Accept Public Load Offer

`POST /v2/public/loads/{token}/accept`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mentium.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Public endpoint for carriers to accept a load offer.

Security:
- No authentication required
- Rate limited: 5 requests per minute per IP
- DOT number validation
- Duplicate submission prevention

Behavior depends on workspace settings:
- auto_book_on_acceptance=true: Goes directly to BOOKED, calls Vortex
- auto_book_on_acceptance=false: Goes to ACCEPTED, requires broker review
- allow_multiple_carrier_acceptance: Controls if multiple carriers can accept

Returns:
- Success/failure status
- Booking ID if successful
- Status: "booked" or "accepted"
