# Provision Phone Number

`POST /v2/phone-numbers/provision`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mentium.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.mentium.io/v2/phone-numbers/provision`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Provision a phone number: Purchase from Twilio, import to ElevenLabs, and save to database.

The number is imported into ElevenLabs but not yet assigned to an agent.
Link a phone agent to this number from the Agents settings to activate calling.

- ProvisionPhoneNumberRequest: Request to provision (purchase from Twilio + deploy to ElevenLabs) a phone number
  - `phone_number` string, required: E.164 formatted phone number to purchase

  - `country_code` string, nullable
