# Enable Whatsapp For Phone Number

`POST /v2/phone-numbers/{phone_number_id}/whatsapp/enable`

## Request

Register a workspace phone number as a Twilio WhatsApp sender.

The sender is enabled only after Twilio reports it as ONLINE; pending states
are returned so the UI can poll for status.
