# Send a digest now

`POST /v1/alerts/{id}/run`

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: Alert id (feed_...).

## Response `200`

The digest for the rule's own period (the last hour, day or week) was sent now (the scheduled one still runs)

  - `skipped` 'already_sent' | 'empty' | 'expired' | 'in_flight', nullable, required: Why nothing was sent, if nothing was: the period already went out, the window had nothing to show, (hourly rules) the hour's retry window closed before it could send, or another run of the same period is sending it right now.
  - `matched` integer, required
  - `relevant` integer, required
  - `outcomes` object[], required
    - `channelId` string, required
    - `ok` boolean, required
    - `error` string, nullable, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Only hourly, daily and weekly rules have a digest
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `404`: Rule not found
