# Delete Internal Deployment

`DELETE /internal/deployments/{deployment_id}`

Finalize deletion: remove the deployment DB record. This is a SERVICE-ONLY
operation the worker calls AFTER it has torn the deployment down (git removal
-> ArgoCD prune). It is distinct from the user-facing public DELETE, which
only *initiates* deletion (sets DELETING + enqueues this teardown).
