# Delete Organization

`DELETE /api/v1/organizations/{slug}`

Delete an organization (owner only).

Refuses while the organization still owns clusters, deployments, databases
or secrets, and while it has an unpaid balance or a payment being collected
(platform admins can pass ?force=true to write the balance off). Its cloud
and DNS credentials are deleted with it, secrets included.

## Query parameters

- `force` boolean: Platform admins only: delete despite a billing hold (the unpaid balance is written off)
