# Change password of the user with user id

`PATCH /users/{userId}/password`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://pmp-demo.privateplatform.mendix.com/userservice/v1`

- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Change password of the user with user id

## Path parameters

- `userId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- UserPasswordInput: User password change request
  - `oldPassword` string, password, required: User's current password.
  - `newPassword` string, password, required: New password that user want to set

## Response `200`

Change user password successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid input parameter or request body
- `401`: Authentication information is missing or invalid
- `403`: User has no permission for this operation
- `404`: Resource not found
