# Remove a project team member

`DELETE /projects/{project-id}/members/{user-id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://projects-api.home.mendix.com/v2`
- URL: `https://projects-api.home.mendix.com/v2/projects/{project-id}/members/{user-id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Removes a team member from a project. The member is not removed when they are the last Scrum Master of the project, the last member of the project, or the Technical Contact of a licensed app.</br>Every request must be authenticated by a Personal Access Token containing the scope `mx:app:team:write`.
