# Delete a project

`DELETE /projects/{project-id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://projects-api.home.mendix.com/v2`
- URL: `https://projects-api.home.mendix.com/v2/projects/{project-id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Deletes a project, its repository, cloud resources, and all collaboration data. A project cannot be deleted if it is attached to a licensed node or if it is hosted in a non-public Mendix cloud.</br>Every request must be authenticated by a Personal Access Token containing the scope `mx:app:delete`.

- `project-id` string, required

- `500`: Internal Server Error
