# Request to publish/retire/activate a version of package

`PUT /versions/{versionId}/request`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://pmp-demo.privateplatform.mendix.com/marketplaceservice/v1`
- URL: `https://pmp-demo.privateplatform.mendix.com/marketplaceservice/v1/versions/{versionId}/request`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in header `Authorization`

### Use this PUT method to publish/retire/activate a version of an existing content item that was created using the POST /version operation

Note:
- Admin and owner of package can publish/retire/activate version of package.
