# Create a feedback item

`POST /feedback-items`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://feedback-api.mendix.com/v2`
- URL: `https://feedback-api.mendix.com/v2/feedback-items`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

This call adds a new feedback item to a specified app and returns the legacyId and UUID  of the new feedback item.

## Request body

- object
  - `projectId` string, required: The unique ID of the app
  - `submitterDisplayName` string: The name of the submitter
  - `submitterEmail` string, required: The email address of the submitter
  - `submitterUUID` string: The unique ID of the user who submitted the feedback item
  - `subject` string, required: The subject line of a feedback item
  - `description` string: The description of a feedback item
  - `screenshot` string: Base64 binary representation of an image (allowed extensions: .jpg or .png)
  - `screenshotName` string: The name of the physical document of the screenshot *Required if a screenshot is provided.
  - `priority` string: The name of the priority (Low, Medium, High, Urgent)

## Response `201`

Feedback Item created.
