# Withdraw your pending claim on an image

`DELETE /v1/images/{id}/claim`

## Request

Withdraws the caller's own pending work claim. Deliberately NOT gated by WORK_CLAIMS_ENABLED — an already-filed claim must stay withdrawable even while new intake is dark.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

Claim withdrawn.

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication required.
- `404`: No pending claim of yours on this image.
