# Create a collection

`POST /v1/collections`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.memestack.ai`
- URL: `https://api.memestack.ai/v1/collections`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Tier-capped via COLLECTION_LIMIT_PER_TIER (5 for Pleb up to 50 for Memelord, 5000 for Creator, unlimited for Admin). Requires a non-banned/frozen account.

## Request body

  - `name` string, required: HTML-stripped and trimmed.
  - `description` string, nullable
  - `is_public` boolean

## Response `201`

Collection created.

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error (empty/too-long name or description).
- `401`: Authentication required.
- `403`: Collection limit reached for the caller's tier.
