# Remove images from a collection

`DELETE /v1/collections/{id}/images`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.memestack.ai`
- URL: `https://api.memestack.ai/v1/collections/{id}/images`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Owner or admin only. 1–50 image ids per request. Clears the collection's cover_image_id if it was among the removed ids.

## Response `200`

Membership updated.

  - `removed` integer
  - `member_count` integer

## Other responses

- `400`: image_ids missing, empty, not UUIDs, or over 50 entries.
- `403`: Not the owner or admin (collection is public).
- `404`: Collection not found, or private and caller is not owner/admin.
