# Crop the photos out of a profile screenshot into the gallery

`POST /api/v1/contacts/{id}/dating-photos`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Costs a vision model call (skipped when the gallery is already full). Crops each photo without the app chrome on top and stores it, so the person can be remembered after the profile disappears. A photo already in the gallery is not added again, positions continue after the last photo, and a contact keeps at most 12 photos; `skippedDuplicates` and `skippedOverLimit` say what was left out.

## Response `200`

The photos added (empty with a note when none was found)

## Other responses

- `400`: No screenshot in the request, or an unknown network
- `404`: Contact not found
- `413`: Over 15 MB
- `415`: Not an accepted image type
- `422`: The screenshot could not be read
- `500`: The crops could not be saved (nothing is left in storage)
- `503`: Image storage not configured
