# Check a connection against its provider

`POST /api/v1/connections/{id}/test`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://memchats.com`
- URL: `https://memchats.com/api/v1/connections/{id}/test`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Sends the cheapest query the provider accepts and stores the outcome in `lastError`. A provider that refuses the key answers 200 with `ok: false`: that is a valid answer to "test this", not a Memchats failure.

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

`{ ok: true }`, or `{ ok: false, error }`

## Other responses

- `403`: Connections require the Pro or Empresa plan
- `404`: Not found
- `503`: The server has no CONNECTIONS_SECRET_KEY
