# Get profile settings

`GET /v2/profiles/settings/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mem0.ai`
- URL: `https://api.mem0.ai/v2/profiles/settings/`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Return the profile settings for the project the API key is scoped to.

## Response `200`

Current settings.

- object
  - `enabled` boolean: Whether profile generation runs for this project. Project-wide.
  - `entities` object: Settings for user profiles, under `user`.
    - `user` object
      - `schema` object, nullable: JSON Schema describing the profile. Every property needs a description.
      - `custom_instructions` string, nullable: Extra guidance for the extraction step.
  - `capabilities` object
    - `jobs` boolean
    - `estimates` boolean
    - `samples` boolean
    - `full_rebuild` boolean: Whether a project-wide rebuild (regenerate/backfill) is available. Currently false.
