# Remove a member or invite

`DELETE /api/v1/teams/{team}/members/{member}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://meettempi.com`
- URL: `https://meettempi.com/api/v1/teams/{team}/members/{member}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `tempi_session`

Removes a member (by user id) or a pending invite (by email). Admins can remove anyone, and members can remove themselves. The member stops hosting the team's event types. Their existing bookings are kept.

## Path parameters

- `team` string, required: the id or slug of a team you belong to
- `member` string, required: a member's user id or an invited email address

## Response `200`
