# Update your profile

`PATCH /api/v1/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://meettempi.com`
- URL: `https://meettempi.com/api/v1/me`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `tempi_session`

Changes your display name, username or time zone. The username is your personal booking handle, and old links keep working and redirect. A new name also renames your personal team.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string: your name, as invitees see it on your booking page and in their emails (at most 80 characters, no web addresses)
  - `username` string: 1-40 lowercase letters, digits or dashes, starting and ending with a letter or digit
  - `timezone` string: an IANA time zone such as "America/New_York" (abbreviations like EST and offsets like UTC+8 work too)
