# Decline a booking request

`POST /api/v1/bookings/{id}/decline`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://meettempi.com`
- URL: `https://meettempi.com/api/v1/bookings/{id}/decline`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `tempi_session`

Declines a booking request (status pending_approval) you host, or any in a team you administer. The time is freed, and Tempi emails the invitee with your reason and a link to request another time. 409 not_a_request if it isn't waiting for approval.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: a booking id ("bkg_…") from list_bookings

  - `reason` string: shown to the invitee, without web addresses
