# Cancel a signature request

`DELETE /v4/signatures/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://developer.meetergo.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-meetergo-api-user-id`
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Cancels a pending request. Its signing links stop working. Completed requests cannot be cancelled.

    - `completedAt` string, date-time, nullable: When the signer completed signing.
  - `signedDocumentUrl` string, nullable: Time-limited download URL for the signed (audit-paged, cryptographically signed) PDF. Present once status is "completed".
  - `completedAt` string, date-time, nullable: When all signers completed.
  - `expiresAt` string, date-time, nullable: When signing links expire (null = never).
  - `automaticReminders` boolean, required: Whether automatic reminders are enabled.
  - `createdAt` string, date-time, required: Creation time.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request did not validate. `message` lists the constraints that failed.
- `401`: Missing, malformed, or expired credentials.
- `403`: Authenticated, but not allowed: the plan does not include this feature, or the token is scoped away from it.
- `404`: No such resource in your account. Resources belonging to another account are reported the same way.
- `429`: Rate limited. Back off and retry.
