# Decline provisional booking

`POST /v4/provisional-booking/{id}/decline`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://developer.meetergo.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-meetergo-api-user-id`
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Declines a provisional booking request and notifies the attendee

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- DeclineProvisionalBookingDto
  - `reason` string: Reason for declining the booking request

## Response `200`

Successfully declined provisional booking

## Other responses

- `201`
- `400`: Booking request has already been processed
- `401`: Missing, malformed, or expired credentials.
- `403`: User is not authorized to decline this booking request
- `404`: Provisional booking not found
- `429`: Rate limited. Back off and retry.
