# Update meeting transcription and summary

`PATCH /v4/appointment/{appointmentId}/transcription`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://developer.meetergo.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-meetergo-api-user-id`
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Updates the meeting transcription and/or AI-generated summary for an appointment. Both fields accept markdown-formatted text. Set a field to `null` to clear it. Omit a field to leave it unchanged.

This endpoint is designed for integrations with transcription services, AI meeting assistants, or any tool that produces meeting records.

## Path parameters

- `appointmentId` string, required

## Request body

- UpdateTranscriptionDto
  - `transcription` string, nullable: Full meeting transcription in markdown format. Set to null to clear.
  - `summary` string, nullable: AI-generated summary of the meeting in markdown format. Set to null to clear.
  - `actualStartAt` string: ISO-8601. When the recorded conversation actually began. Optional.
  - `actualEndAt` string: ISO-8601. When the recorded conversation actually ended. Optional.

## Response `200`

Transcription updated successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: The request did not validate. `message` lists the constraints that failed.
- `401`: Missing, malformed, or expired credentials.
- `403`: User does not have access to this appointment
- `404`: Appointment not found
- `429`: Rate limited. Back off and retry.
