# How much of an invoice is already credited, and what is still open

`GET /invoicing/documents/{id}/credit-notes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://developer.meetergo.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://developer.meetergo.com/invoicing/documents/{id}/credit-notes`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `x-meetergo-api-user-id`

## Response `200`

- InvoiceCreditSummaryDto
  - `invoiceId` string, required
  - `creditedTotal` number, required: Sum of issued (non-draft) credit notes chained to this invoice
  - `outstanding` number, required: grossTotal - amountPaid: what a further credit note may still cover
  - `creditNoteIds` string[], required

## Other responses

- `400`: The request did not validate. `message` lists the constraints that failed.
- `401`: Missing, malformed, or expired credentials.
- `403`: Authenticated, but not allowed: the plan does not include this feature, or the token is scoped away from it.
- `404`: No such resource in your account. Resources belonging to another account are reported the same way.
- `429`: Rate limited. Back off and retry.
